Application designed to improve one’s listening- and comprehension-level.
Apart from the usual basic functions (check-spelling, quick access to the English Dictionary, Find/Replace and Printing), the application focuses on functions especially usefull to users whose mother language is not English, such as:

• Voices and their attributes (i.e. pitch and modulation) can be easily changed in a Control Palette.
• Reading-speed may be varied to suit the user’s comprehension level (beginner, advanced, proficient), as you can see in the additional screenshot.
• Option to highlight each word of the text while being read.
• Table of irregular verbs.
• A text, or part of it, can be read in a loop (i.e. several times).

And for the creative user, there is a tutorial showing how to write a play (i.e. a text with different voices, pitch etc.) and listen to it (see Screenshot)
