faceMecca
for the iPhone 3Gs
Intro:
Now, you can easily face Mecca five times a day for prayer.
How to use:
Just turn on faceMecca. You will hear the call to prayer. The red arrow will find and point in the direction of Mecca. Touch the screen to hear the call to prayer again. To mute the volume, just touch the screen.
Real time GPS/Compass:
The iPhone 3Gs comes with a magnetometer (compass) chip, which allows the iPhone to know which way it is orientated with respect to due north.
Note:
faceMecca only works with iPhone 3Gs. faceMecca utilizes the onboard compass chip. (On other devices, face towards due north.)
