FCR: Find Cancer Resources was designed by a team of professional librarians from the University Health Network as a pathfinder to help clinicians locate free health sciences information resources on the Internet. In addition to links to key international medical and health sciences information tools, there is a focus on resources specific to oncology. Care has been taken to include pertinent content from Kuwait and the Eastern Mediterranean region. Mobile-friendly sites have been chosen over traditional web resources where available.

For ease of navigation, content has been categorized into databases, e-journals, e-books, dictionaries, websites, author tools, professional associations and sites that provide insights into evidence-based medicine. You can browse additional sub-categories within these.

Please note that this app contains links to websites on the Internet that are not maintained or controlled by University Health Network. The list of resources is selective rather than comprehensive. Criteria for selection were that each resource was available for free, was accessible on a handheld device, and was from a source believed to be credible and authoritative.
