Application Description
Learning is not a game, so neither is this app. It is intended for children from birth up to the age of about two, and for their parents/carers.
There are 100 words organised into tent lists. They are based on the words produced by a child of the target age being brought up in a middle-class English family.
Learning is in three stages: 1 presentation of images and sounds; 2 practice selecting the correct image; 3 production of the correct sound when an image is presented. This is based on established language teaching practice.
