Goldman
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
This simulation calculates an estimated membrane potential that reflects the relative contributions of the chemical concentration gradients and relative membrane permeability for K⁺, Na⁺ and Cl⁻ ions using the Goldman equation.
The Goldman-Hodgkin-Katz equation is named in honor of American David Goldman and the British Nobel laureates Sir Alan Hodgkin and Sir Bernard Katz.

This simulation calculates also the Nernst potentials of K⁺, Na⁺ and Cl⁻ ions using the Nernst equation.
The Nernst equation is named after the German Chemist and Nobel laureate, Walther Nernst.
