From a grid of nine letters, compose as many words as you can! Each word must contain the central letter in the red square. Some grids will have a solution containing hundreds of words and some might have just a few but each contains at least one word using all nine letters. Big or small you will need to be seriously good to get even close to a complete solution.
Because this game uses a subset (all words of nine letters and less) of the SOWPODS word list, as used at tournament level in a certain very popular word board game, you might find that some practice with Gridagrams has improved your game next time you find yourself staring at a rack of difficult tiles.
The game will take a few seconds to finish loading this very large and comprehensive word list and then play begins. By tapping on the grid, enter letters to build your words. A word can be accepted when:
- the word is found in the word list
- the word contains the central letter
- the word has not already been accepted.
While you are working the game is also working, calculating a complete solution in the background. Once the solution is ready you can use the Solve button to display the complete solution but don't give up too early!
