The HVAC Showroom is a proven system to inform and educate today’s consumers about the features and benefits of different HVAC technologies and products for residential homes. It does this by using multi-media animations and visuals to demonstrate how different technologies and products actually work! The HVAC Showroom contains the following product animations: 1. Straight Heat Pump – In this animation, we demonstrate how a Heat Pump works, including standard and multi-stage units. We also have tools that will calculate the average hours a year a Heat Pump would run and compare the operating costs across different fuel types. (Oil, Propane, etc). There is also a Balance Point Calculation tool that allows you to input the specific model of Heat Pump to see a projected balance point for the home.
2. Air Conditioner – In this animation, we demonstrate how an Air Conditioner works to cool a home, including multi-staged Air Conditioners
3. Air Filtration - In this particular animation, we demonstrate how the most common types of Air Filtration devices work to clean the air within a home, including Electronic and 5" Media filter systems.
4. Air Handler - In this particular animation, we demonstrate how the Air Handler unit works, including standard and Variable Speed units.
5. Ductwork Smoke Detector - In this particular animation, we demonstrate the safety features of having a Smoke Detection system mounted within the ductwork system of a home.
6. Gas Furnace - In this particular animation, we demonstrate how the Furnace works, including standard and Variable Speed furnaces.
7. Hybrid Systems (Heat Pump with a Furnace) - In this particular animation we demonstrate how a Hybrid System (often referred to as a Dual Fuel system) works. We also have tools that will calculate the average hours a year a Heat Pump and Furnace would run and compare the operating costs across different fuel types. (Oil, Propane, etc). Included is a Balance Point Calculation tool that allows you to input the specific model of Heat Pump to see a projected balance point for the home.
8. Natural Gas Safety Valve - In this particular animation, we demonstrate the safety features of a Natural Gas Safety Valve.
9. Electrical Surge Protector - In this particular animation, we demonstrate the safety features of a Surge protection device on a HVAC system.
10. Geothermal Systems – This animation will demonstrate how different loops work in a geothermal system, including systems with Hot Water assist functions. We also have tools that will calculate the average hours a year a Heat Pump and Furnace would run and compare the operating costs across different fuel types. (Oil, Propane, etc).
