Application Description
A Must Have App for all Care Workers

Sponsored by Skills of Care and created by the Transpennine Care Network, this application is based upon the Common Induction Standard for Care Workers.
The standards are for people entering social care, and those changing roles or employers within social care.
This application covers all the topics within the Standards and offers users the chance to test their knowledge and gain proof of achievement.
If a user can achieve a score of 80% or more in each of the 10 topic areas then they are offered a certificate to show their success. This is emailed to them directly.
This application is expected to improve the number of Care Workers who can prove their knowledge without having to repeat learning. Production of a certificate can provide the proof of knowledge understanding for the standards. This will prove useful for experienced workers who already have an good understanding of the topics in the Common Induction Standard.
