Application Description
Do you create apps for iPad or iPhone?
Are you tired of having to make so many different images every time you make a new app or change the icon?
The images have to be exact sizes and with exact names and depending on the versions of iOS that your app supports, they have to be listed in the app's Info.plist file. Maybe in two different ways!
Why not let Icon Builder do all the boring stuff?
Create all the image files you need in just 2 steps:
1. Drag an image into the window.
2. Click the "Create icon files" button.
Icon Builder will create all the image files at the correct size and with the correct name. These will be saved to a folder for you to drag into your Xcode project. The folder will also contain a ReadMe file with all the data you need to copy & paste into your Info.plist file.
Is your app for iPad only or for iPhone only? Select a device and only the image sizes required for that device will be created.
Note that Icon Builder does not create icns files for use in a Mac app. Check out our companion app for this - Icns Maker.
