Application Description
The Irish FA’s Safeguarding Children and Young People in Football app is an ideal educational tool for adults involved in youth football, as well as young players.
The app is aimed at creating greater awareness and understanding about safeguarding best practice and addresses contemporary challenges such as social media, bullying and transportation. Critically, it is to build confidence and competence so that adults involved in children’s football are better prepared to identify, respond to and report child protection concerns.
Users will also have access to exclusive messages from Jonny Evans (Manchester United and Northern Ireland) and David Healy (former Northern Ireland international).
The app is presented in three formats and you can choose to watch, read or listen to the information.
