iLocation
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
Have you ever wanted to tell where you are to your family & friends with just a click
of a button?
Have you ever wanted to track where you have been, and share locations with your family
& friends on real time with just a click of a button?
With iLocation, you can easily share your locations with your family & friends, and track
where you have been.
1. Find out where you are on your iPhone immediately.
2. Share your location with family & friends using Email, SMS, and Twitter in address
instead of geographic coordinates via reverse geocoding.*
3. Track where you have been on your iPhone, and share your locations with your family
& friends on real time via Twitter.**
4. Decide how often update your location on Twitter either by time or distance.5.
Control the accuracy of GPS to conserve battery life.***
Note*: Reverse geocoding is the process of converting geographic coordinates
(like latitude 37.423021 and longitude -122.083739) into addresses (like "1600
Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA").
Reverse geocoding is provided by Google, and may fail when reverse geocoding
service finds no corresponding addresses, or simply when reverse geocoding service
is not available. In case when reverse geocoding fails, iLocation uses geographic
coordinates instead.
Note**: You need to have a Twitter account to use this feature. Tweeting your locations can
compromise your privacy, since anyone who is following your tweet can see your
location updates. Please turn this feature off if you have any concerns about your
privacy. Twitter location update is turned of by default for privacy reason.
Note**: GPS running background continuously can decrease battery life dramatically.
Lower GPS accuracy, lower the battery consumption.
