iMePoS is a DICOM software for viewing and transmitting DICOM images on iPad independently, such as CT, MRI, DR, CR and so on.
Based on DICOM 3.0, iMePoS can be integrated in the existing hospital PACS system and be connected to the acquisition equipment and medical image workstation.

iMePoS supports these DICOM Network protocols: C-STORE SCP, C-STORE SCU, C-MOVE SCU, C-FIND SCU.
We can send images to iMePoS from PACS or medical image workstation. We can also send images from iMePoS to other network nodes. We can query medical images on remote servers in many ways. And if necessary, we can retrieve some special medical images to iMePoS and save them to local database.


Thus, iMePoS can obtain data in three ways:
1. you can load DICOM images on local database;
2. you can access to remote PACS data, and download the specified studies to local database;
3. iMePos can receive the images sent from the remote server, and save them to local database.
After obtaining images, we can use our fingers to manipulate them flexibly through the multipoint touch screen interface, such as zoom, pan, cine, adjustment of window width and window center and so on.
In addition, iMePoS provides us functions of inverse and preset window width and window center for body parts, which makes viewing images more convenient.
Information in DICOM file with variety of characters set such as French, German, Hebrew, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese and Korean can be displayed on this app perfectly.
