Application Description
======= launch SALE: 67% off !! ===============
My 5 year old son loves solving puzzles, so I made an app for that and although I know there are quite a few of them out there, none is as easy to use and has options to find relevant pictures that can turn into amazing puzzles. This app was quality assured by 3, 4, 5...., 35 year olds, they found bugs and came up with new features that I integrated in Infinite Puzzles. If you have ideas or concerns don't hesitate to contact us at Project Eureka.
The purpose of this game is to solve the puzzle by finding the right
position for each tile. Most of the games can be solved just by
swapping the tiles, the only 2 exceptions being the "15" puzzle (this game
has a missing tile, and the only valid move is to swap an adjacent
tile with the blank tile); the other exception is when the type of the tile selected is square (as Square tiles on Settings screen, selected by the player), for such cases the tiles may also need to be rotated, consequently another valid move is rotating a tile).
15 Puzzle - acording to wikipedia: “The n-puzzle is known in various versions, including the 8 puzzle, the 15 puzzle, and with various names (Gem Puzzle, Boss Puzzle, Game of Fifteen, Mystic Square and many others). It is a sliding puzzle that consists of a frame of numbered square tiles in random order with one tile missing. If the size is 3×3, the puzzle is called the 8-puzzle or 9-puzzle, and if 4×4, the puzzle is called the 15-puzzle or 16-puzzle. The object of the puzzle is to place the tiles in order (see diagram) by making sliding moves that use the empty space.” The twist for Infinte Game is that instead of numbers you have parts of a picture that need to be placed in the right order. The missing tile in our game is either the first one (top, left) or the last (bottom, right) one, the user has the option to choose which tile is the missing one by modifying game settings.
All the the pictures from iCategory (iCars, iAnimals, iCartoons …) are loaded from Internet (currently only Flickr is supported, other picture providers (like Picasa, Facebook, Photobucket) may be added in the future versions); in order to access them you need an Internet connection. Pictures from iCustom category can be modified by changing the search text in Settings.
Searching pictures on the Internet has 2 options, either text search or tags search, the user can modify search options in game Settings.
(Disclaimer, all the pictures provided in iCategoy sections are coming from Flickr (with the safe search on), we are not responsible for any inappropriate content as a result of our automatic tags query.
