Using the ION Rewards app, nearby consumers view ads featuring merchants’ items, all of which reward customers at checkout with IONs equal to 2 % or more of the offer price, as specified by the merchant.

Customers with the ION app pay ION merchants digitally using either a linked credit/debit card, Dwolla account or accrued IONs stored on their phone. Customer payments are directly deposited as cash within 24 hours to merchants’ Dwolla accounts.
