Simple guide to iPrompter HD (for iPad)

iPrompter HD is a simple automatic text-scrolling app for iPad, adapted from a version for the iPhone and iPod touch, to help the user make a speech or presentation. iPrompter for iPad works best with iOS version 3.0 or later, which allows the user to copy-and-paste from the iPhone Mail app or any other app.

Simple steps to using iPrompter HD:

1/ CREATE the text file, to be used for a speech or presentation — in two ways:

1.1/ by typing/editing into a new or existing text file within iPrompter for iPad, or

1.2/ by emailing the text to the iPhone Mail app, and copy-and-paste the desired text into a new or existing file within iPrompter for iPad.

2/ SCROLL the text file

3/ ADJUST scroll settings, as necessary, by changing:

3.1/ the font size, in a wider range, from 12 to 60 points

3.2/ the scrolling speed

3.3/ the continuous or line-by-line scrolling mode

3.4/ the position of the reference transparent yellow bar

3.5/ the background color to white or black

3.6/ the timer, or not

3.7/ the text orientation, for use with a mirror

4/ STOP/START the scrolling by tapping on the screen
