Application Description
Want to know your golf swing speed? [iPhone 3G Only]
iSwingSpeed calculates the speed of your golf swing instantly. Golfers will find it easy and fun to use.
Once you launch iSwingSpeed, follow four easy steps to have your iPhone calculate your swing speed:
1. Place the iPhone flat on the ground at a distance of 27" or 6 iphone lengths behind the ball in the swing path of the club.
2. Point mic of iPhone towards golf ball.
3. Swing golf club and strike ball.
4. Read speed. Repeat step 3
iSwingSpeed is designed to display your swing speed after impact. That's it. You do not have to press any thing to activate it; it's always ready to display your swing speed.
iSwingSpeed uses the iPhone mic and its patent pending fundamentally-based logic to determine your club speed at impact.
If you are looking to enhance your golf game and better understand your swing, this app will be an excellent training tool. If you wish to know your half swing compared to your quarter swing, this app will help you learn that difference. It allows golfers to know their optimal swing speeds for various clubs so golfers can increase the distance on their shots or make better club selections in general.
