Application Description
One of the missions of Cherokee Nation is the revitalization of the Cherokee language. The Cherokee Nation has made available many tools on the internet to assist in the learning and practice of the Cherokee Language. From live online Cherokee languages classes to interactive language games and books on the web (www.cherokee.org), the Cherokee Nation is proud to also offer Cherokee language tools to the iPhone!
iSyllabary will give you the basic sounds of the Cherokee Syllabary and will also allow you to covert English phonetic spelled words into the Syllabary. This application is in its infancy. As we do further development we hope to hear your thoughts and suggestions!
Current features include:
· Sound enabled Cherokee Syllabary chart
· Quick convert of (English) phonetic to the Cherokee Syllabary
