JEF has reached an unparalleled status in the short time of its existence, drawing in more than 2000 delegates from diverse backgrounds including royalty, current and former heads of state, ministers, CEOs, businessmen, academia and media, from more than 160 countries. In the past, the forum has attracted a truly elite group of speakers such as President George H. As we enter a new decade in 2011, it is imperative to understand and then act upon the global forces that have already wrought such enormous economic and political change in the 21st century—forces whose impact is only going to grow. That is why the 2011 JEF will have as its overarching theme, “A 21st Century Transformation: The Impact of Global Forces.” Our mission will be to take a forward looking approach to identify and analyze the most critical cross-cutting trends shaping business and society: globally, regionally and within Saudi Arabia itself.
