L.E.D. Lab is the quickest, easiest, most powerful way to drive your RGB L.E.D.-strip display. Custom programming is no longer required to get up-and-running! It is ideal for professional display designers, architects, hobbyists, and anyone wanting to add a little animated color to their home.

L.E.D. Lab allows you to create a list of Scenes, which can be played back in order or shuffled. There are currently two kinds of Scenes:
● Strips Scene - Particles of color are sent down each strip. The velocity, hue, saturation, and brightness of each particle can be animated.
● Pictures Scene - A two-dimensional montage of still and video pictures is designed. The position, velocity, rotation, size, and coloring of each picture can be animated. Then, using an L.E.D. Map, this montage is drawn on the L.E.D.-strip display.

Any iOS device can be used to play back Scene Lists. An iPad is required for full editing.

There are many options for playback:
● Hide the editing controls and display the Scene List in a list or grid.
● Display the scenes full-screen.
● Display on an external monitor or projector.
● Transfer your Scene List files to an iPod or iPhone to use it as a portable playback device (ideal for wearable LEDs).
● Turn off Auto-Save so that viewers can play with Scenes without permanently editing them.
● Set a Scene List to Auto-Play when the app starts up - ideal for kiosk installations.

Currently, L.E.D. Lab works only with L.E.D.-strip displays using the PixelPusher protocol. (http://www.heroicrobotics.com for information.) Soon it will work with other systems as well. It can also display to an external monitor or projector, serving as a VJ app.

Extensive help information is provided for the rich user-interface:
● Help Explorer - Displays help text for any knob, slider, button, popup, list, or view inside a magnifying glass you drag around the screen. (See this in the last screen shot.)
● Help Topics - Little chapters to read about some of the more detailed functionalities.
● Help Tutorials - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRch2Xkx_l9b2qLEymhvvrg
