Christopher Lisotta first moved to the Los Angeles area in 1996 when he shared half of a historic Craftsman home in Santa Monica. He spent three years living in West Hollywood before moving a few blocks into the City of L.A. He is a regular contributor to The Advocate, Out, Frontiers in LA and Instinct Magazines. He also writes for the gay-themed web site Modern Tonic. In 2005 he won a GLAAD Media Award for an article he wrote in The Nation on tensions between the African American and LGBT communities.
