Application Description
THIS APPLICATION IS INTENDED FOR USE BY EXISTING LATITUDE TECHNOLOGIES CUSTOMERS ONLY.
In order to use the Latitude Messenger App, users MUST already have a Latitude SkyNode® satellite communications device. Contact Latitude Technologies at 1-888-966-5599 or support@latitudetech.com for more information.
Using a WiFi module available from Latitude Technologies, Latitude Messenger can connect to a Latitude SkyNode® satellite communications unit and provide the ability to:
- Send and receive text messages to/from WebSentinel or email addresses
- View current system status and location updates (Iridium Signal Strength, GPS Status, Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, Speed, Heading, etc)
- Enable and disable emergency tracking mode
- Trigger tracking events
- Dial, answer, and end calls on the SkyNode® system (on supported SkyNode® models)
