Map My Adventures allows you to build and share a live travel diary with your friends. Use it to share a current travel adventure or retrospectively share a previous journey you have been on. You can also use it to plan itineraries for future travels too and quickly keep family and friends updated with your latest movements as you travel.

Manually add your map points or leave the app to automatically log your location by setting the options, you can always edit them again later on. Add a brief, or detailed description of each point to build your own travel journal before sharing either your current location or your whole travel adventure on Facebook.

Your friends will be able to view your map points and descriptions by clicking the link in their news feed. No need to use the Facebook checking in feature as Map My Adventure simply uses your geographic location.
