Mathbeat—for free! (you do the math)
MathbeatFree is a simple app for practicing math skills!
Just in time to help keep those math skills sharp over summer break, MathbeatFree was designed to help improve basic math drill skills. It keeps things moving and challenges you to keep trying to beat your own best!
⊕ Select the operators (+,-,×,÷) and range (from 0 through 12) to tailor the problems to skills you want to work on. Play with any combination of operators and range.
⊕ Enter your answers through a standard numeric keypad—if you’re using an iPad mini, it’s even the same size as a standard physical keypad.
⊕ Score as soon as you enter the correct digits for the answer (no ‘Enter’ key) to help keep things moving faster.
⊕ Solve every problem—it doesn’t give you a new problem until you solve the current one, to help you get better where you need it.
⊕ Review the problems you solved and your scores in the notebook. This is also great for the ‘over-the-shoulder’ user—for a parent or teacher to quickly review how a student has been doing.
⊕ Set a goal for yourself, or let Mathbeat update your goal automatically to always work on beating your best!
⊕ Practice all you want. When you’re ready to test your skills, start the timer and see if you can beat your goal!
⊕ Track your score progress against the timer. Beat the timer to the end and you’ll have made your goal!
⊕ Create multiple players to keep track of scores and settings for everyone who plays on the same iPad.

That includes from one iPad to another, or among the two apps even on the same iPad. At this time your high scores from Mathbeat Free will not appear in Mathbeat, and vice versa.
