The screen is split between the text of the Bible and your resources, which include your notes, media preview, and the integrate web browser. This integrated browser makes meBible unique. Select a word, words, or entire scripture and instantly search your pick of 9 search engines for written information, photos, videos, lectures, maps - whatever you can think of! Many of these search engines are specifically chosen for their rich Biblical content, but you can change any or all of these presets to resources of your own choosing.

 By the way, the split screen is adjustable - just slide the second toolbar up and down with your finger.

When you find a resource online, you can create a link to that resource in your notes, anchored to the scripture reference and word that the resource describes. You can also easily add text to your notes, either by typing / speaking them yourself, or by selecting text you find online and tapping “Add Note”, which automatically creates a note from the text with a citation that links back to the original source material.

As you add notes and links to one or more of your personal notebooks, you’ll soon have a vast collection of resources available to you. You can share these resources with other meBible users, or for that matter, anyone at all! Your notes become a bridge to a library of sorted information that’s just a tap / click away.

With meBible, your notes are YOUR notes. There is no account to sign up for, and your notebooks are stored on your own device, not on someone else's server.

meBible is powerful, but it is also very easy to use. Rotate from landscape to portrait to automatically bring up a parallel Bible allowing two versions be to viewed side-by-side. Use a two-finger swipe to go back to the previous book and chapter you were reading before jumping to a new verse. Hold your finger down for a second on the book selector to quickly jump from chapter to chapter. Tap a verse number for a full menu of verse-specific options. You get the point.

Being a "research Bible" must mean that meBible looks "boring", right? Wrong!
