Application Description
MG-SOFT SNMP Micro MIB Browser for Apple iPad is an SNMP browser application featuring a simple and easy-to-use graphical user interface that lets you monitor and manage SNMP capable remote network equipment.
On computer networks and generally on the Internet, several important devices are running (for example routers, switches, servers, printers, WiFi access points, web cameras,... ) and the overall performance and usability of the network depends on the health and stability of many of these devices. These devices usually contain an SNMP agent, which means they can be remotely monitored and managed by SNMP network management applications. Namely, SNMP stands for "Simple Network Management Protocol" and this protocol is the standard 'language' for managing and monitoring remote network equipment.
From now on SNMP capable devices on the network can be conveniently monitored and managed also from your iPad tablet running the MG-SOFT SNMP Micro Browser application. In other words, you can retrieve any OID instance implemented in SNMP agents in these devices (like device uptime, network traffic utilization, CPU load, memory usage, disk usage, etc.) and have an active look into the health and performance of any vital device on your network.
