mHealthText is the first mobile health app that lets clinicians send secure text messages to other clinicians, and clinicians and patients to communicate using both secure messaging and regular text messages, all while remaining HIPAA-compliant.
For Clinicians:
Although 90% of American adults have mobile phones, less than half of those are smartphones that can run “apps”, so secure messaging apps will only work for half of your patients. Regular text messaging is not HIPAA-compliant and could subject you to substantial penalties.
mHealthText allows you to reach all 90% and still be HIPAA-compliant using a combination of secure messaging for the clinician and either secure or regular text messaging for the patient.
