The night skies above the Northern Japanese Alps and the Fuji Five Lakes, move!

Have you ever stayed up all night gazing at the stars above the sky?
Have you ever wished you wanted to watch the stars till dawn?
When do people look up at the sky and talk to the stars?

Mountaineer and photographer, Ichiro Murata has taken photographs of the night skies of the Northern Japanese Alps and the Fuji Five Lakes all through the night.
At intervals of 8 seconds for 12 hours, he takes more than 5,400 pictures in a single night. By showing 30 frames per second, this would make an approximately 3 minutes movie.
And if you combine all the 5,400 photos, the trails of the stars would
appear!

This "Moving Star" app will show you 14 different night sky scenes with nice, relaxing BGM.
Please enjoy the soothing sensation of the world created by the movies and pictures of the night skies and stars that a human eye could not directly see.

About Ichiro MURATA
Born in Tokyo, March 1964. 1986, Graduate of Department of Marine Electronics; School of Marine Science and Technology; Tokai University. Also studied at the Department of Informatics and Electronics; Institute of Industrial Science; the University of Tokyo.
In 2004, became freelance after working as employee in an electronics company. Since 2007, is working on projects of new ways of showing photos of mountains and star sceneries, creating hardware as well as software by himself, has presented many of his works in photography magazines since 2010.
