Finally, Music Quest makes it fun for kids to actually practice their instruments at home. It actively listens to their music practice and gives instant rewards to make them feel like their efforts are making progress. Compatible with any real instrument on any song.

By integrating sound detection technology and fun game mechanics, Music Quest develops more consistent practice habits for students. Developed in conjunction with music teachers, the app encourages and tracks a child’s home practice so they are excited and prepared for the next lesson.

Students are given a musical character that grows in response to their musical input. The more they practice, the more their character grows. Students are given a more tangible, visual indication of their musical progress – incentivizing them to practice more to unlock rewards.

Although Music Quest does not critique students on their practice performance (we believe teachers are best for that role), it provides young students (5-10) an engaging storyline that is powered by their own music practice.
