My First Calculator is a great way to introduce numbers, counting, addition, subtraction and basic features of a calculator to children. It has been designed to focus on core introductory numeracy competencies before introducing children to further concepts such as zero and negative numbers.

- Avoid the confusion of zero concepts when introducing numbers. Without the 0 button, My First Calculator allows addition and subtraction up to 18.

* Negative numbers?
- My First Calculator avoids the concept of negative numbers by only allowing subtraction of numbers smaller than the first selected number.
