The NOH8 Campaign is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in late 2008 after the passage of Proposition 8 in California, which banned same-sex marriage. Founded by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley, NOH8 began as a viral photographic protest featuring images of those affected by hate and discrimination dressed in white with duct tape over their mouths. Though silenced by the physical manifestation of hate, the message of NOH8 ("no hate") written on their cheeks speaks past the tape and puts a face to the fight for equality one photo at a time.

MISSION STATEMENT: The NOH8 Campaign is a charitable organization whose mission is to promote marriage, gender and human equality through education, advocacy, social media, and visual protest.
