We use it when we’re stuck, need to name a project, start a band, name a pet, create a domain name, give a friend a nickname, craft a new superpower, exercise our brains, start a conversation… A must have for the imaginative person who’s constantly creating.
In this free version of nounnoun, you'll get 100 free nounnouns. After that you can upgrade to get unlimited nounnouns for $0.99 or continue using the free version and get 10 new nounnouns everyday.
* The chances of you getting the same word twice is 1 in 36+ million.
** For the inquisitive people wondering how many nouns there are in the English language, there is no sensible answer to your question for a lot of reasons: multiple definitions, plural forms, tense variations, medical and scientific terms, Latin words used in law, French words used in cooking, Japanese words used in martial arts, etc. But if you’re the persistent type, The Second Edition of the 20-volume Oxford English Dictionary contains full entries for 171,476 words in current use, and 47,156 obsolete words.
