Application Description
NS Connect is a dedicated web browser that allows you to view the NetSuite Web application on your iPad.
NetSuite’s integrated business management suite is perfect for the growing small or medium-sized business. The NetSuite Web application uses mouse-based on-hover fly-outs for main navigation and, many of it’s icons are quite small. This makes it difficult to navigate and use on the iPad.
NS Connect changes all of that.
NS Connect is a dedicated web browser that allows you to view the NetSuite Web application on your iPad. It converts all the non-viewable navigation elements and makes use of the full screen size of the iPad. Information displays in real-time.
NS Connect provides nearly all the top navigation bar links and information from the NetSuite Web application in an easy-to-use format. It allows you to save your username email address for easier login the next time.
One download of the this app can be used on multiple iPads. Your administrator, marketing manager, warehouse manager, in-the-field salesmen, etc. can get connected for one low price.
Tips for using:
To show or hide the main navigation, double-finger swipe on the main view or click on the icon in the upper left. The info button will indicate your current role. To logout, click on the icon in the upper right. To show / hide the NetSuite generated top navigation, see NS Connect in the iPad Settings app.
NS Connect uses secure web connections and the same WebKit rendering engine used by Safari on the iPad. If it will display on the iPad’s Safari web browser, it will display in NS Connect. Also, if it does not display on Safari …you get the idea. NetSuite’s JavaScript pop-ups, like the Help pages, will not be visible on NS Connect.
NS Connect only works corrently if the Drop Down Menus" setting is set to 'Open when mouse rolls over tab', which is the default setting. Changing the setting to 'None',' Open when arrow next to tab is clicked', or 'Open when tab is clicked' does not allow NS Connect to get the correct navigation information.

NetSuite is data intensive and can be slower on G3 cellular connections than WiFi. If you are running NS Connect over G3, please be patient.
