Application Description
NUBeef-BCS is a tool for managing the nutrition program for beef herds. (BCS stands for Body Condition Scoring). Body condition scores (BCS) describe the relative fatness of a cow based on a nine point scale. The BCS system allows producers to visually assess their cow herd using a number system that objectively describes the amount of condition or fat reserve of an animal. This app is a must for beef cow producers, developed by Dr. Richard J. Rasby, Extension Beef Specialist.
