PathCase MAW
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
This application is useful for college-level metabolic biochemistry students as well as for those researchers who need to see visualizations of metabolic pathways. The application has two capabilities. First, Metabolomics Analysis Workbench (MAW) provides visualizations of mammalian metabolic pathways, where the pathways are collected from the literature. Next versions of this application will provide genome-scale visualizations of reconstructed networks of organisms.
The second capability provides sample executions of a (prototype and research) metabolomics tool, called SMDA (Steady-State Metabolic Network Dynamics Analysis): the user chooses a metabolic subnetwork and provides a set of metabolomics data; and, SMDA returns possible activation/inactivation scenarios of the selected network as a sequence of graphs.
