Application Description
The phonetic alphabet (spelling alphabet) assigns code words to letters of the alphabet acrophonically. Used in military and civilian industries, this type of alphabet uses code words in order to avoid confusion and problems spelling out names, addresses, and any other kind of long or trivial information.
High use in Military installations like the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the American Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). Now there's no excuse to look like a novice in front of a veteran.
When used in the retail industry, most commonly through a telephone, an operator might confuse a spelling for another letter, the "B" letter might sound like "D" for example. This app helps with pronunciations and different word groups in order to avoid confusion.
