Application Description
From the makers of the award winning Pocket Anatomy, comes the second of our stand alone apps on the systems of the body, Pocket Anatomy: Lymphatic.
The lymph system is the body's drainage system, composing of a network of vessels and small structures called lymph nodes. These vessels drain fluid from tissues. Bacteria and other microbes are picked up in the lymphatic fluid and trapped inside lymph nodes, where they can be attacked and destroyed by white blood cells.
Pocket Anatomy: Lymphatic permits the user to view the lymphatic system in 3D - aiding a more interactive and visual understanding of the relationships and composite parts that comprise it.
