Loc8 Codes were launched in 2010 to address the need for a precise Irish Addressing System. It is currently used in thousands of businesses and by public bodies around the country.

Loc8 Codes are geo-codes meaning they are directly related to the underlying GPS coordinates at the location. They are accurate to within +/-6m anywhere in the country.

Point8 allows you to manage your Loc8 Codes and navigate to codes published by thousands of businesses around the country.

Point8 allows you to:
* Search for a Loc8 Code on display on the inbuilt map
* Generate your own Loc8 Code from the map or from your current position
* Navigate to any Loc8 Code via Google Maps, TomTom, Navigon, Garmin StreetPilot, Navfree or Waze iOS apps
* Share a location with your friends
* Generate QR codes by sending to an email and instantly navigate to a Loc8 Code by scanning its QR code with the in-built camera
* Attach a Loc8 Code to an address book contact and navigate to a contact via the postcode field of their address

Point8 is designed for non-commercial use and you are given forty free Loc8 Code lookups per week. Use beyond that requires the purchase of Go Further credits. These are available as an in-app purchase as required.
