Application Description
An app that lives up to it's name if you want it to. Disarmingly simple, un-hyped and having a refined elegance, PowerchangeMe presents you with a carefully selected set of 50 unusual 'open' questions that have been designed to take your life to a deeper level, one question at a time. Taken one-a-day, the app gives you seven weeks of personal development.
Just imagine a trustworthy experienced coach looking you in the face and inviting you to consider questions you rarely, if ever, have been asked before - then waiting quietly for your honest answer. That’s PowerchangeMe.
Take your time - 30 seconds
An essential element of the app is a customisable timer specifically included to overcome the human tendency to provide superficial 'snap' answers. This is deliberately set to a default of 30 seconds. If you need more 'thought time' set it to your optimum level on the top tool bar. The timer starts when you hit the 'Start' button.
'Coach Me'
The Coach Me button provides a brief sentence or two of clarification - and many also include a extra question for you to chew over with our compliments! Feel free to take or ignore the Coach Me help. Whatever works for you.
No wrong answers
In Powerchange we say the only wrong answers are dishonest ones. There is no point in trying to kid yourself, and no one else is going to know unless you tell them. So say it as it seems to you. Note: not every question will be perfect for you. If a particular question isn't working for you, having given it time and thought, move onto another one.
Don't like the question?
Swipe it away and move to the next one. Or use the forward and back arrows. Come back to it another day though - we've found that some of the less attractive questions have the greatest power to change clients for the better. Increase the thinking time - or leave it on your phone for a day or two. It may be addressing something you particularly need to think about, and change?
It remembers your previous answers
When the keyboard appears, type in your response to the question if you want. We recommend it. It will become a useful record as you develop your thinking. We've found people change their answers a lot, and that is part of what this app is designed to do: to give you increasingly powerful insights about yourself and the way you see your life and the world we all live in, and literally to change your mind.
Built-in Sharing
Want to share your answers with your friends? That's fine by us! Use the app down the pub (we do and people love it) or share it with your friends over the internet. We have made that easy too, with an email option and connections to Facebook, Twitter and other sites built right into PowerchangeMe.
Coaching for you personally
Live, affordable, personal coaching from a accredited member of our Powerchange coaching team is available by appointment using Skype, phone or iChat. All our coaches have had a year's training at our Academy, have graduated at GOLD level and are supervised by our team. We have a wealth of experience in helping people like you.
