The Crystal Calculator from PVA TePla AG calculates the geometric dimensions of Silicon and Germanium crystals grown according to the Czochralski method.

With the input of charge weight, crystal body diameter and the amount of remaining melt the app calculates the weight and length of the crystal sections “shoulder”, “body” and “endcone” as well as the total crystal length.

Additionally the input of the average body pull speed results in a calculation of the total process time in a state of the art crystal growing furnace from PVA TePla AG. The input of the process start date and time generates a table with the time cycle of the individual process phases of crystal growth and the expected process end.
