PX Height Meter

This App is not just a tool to calculate visible height of utility poles, it’s also a powerful mean allowing to collect important information on your assets – pole status & strength, location (GPS & ZIP), photos, attached equipment, your comments etc. All collected information and photos can be then used to build database of inspected poles.

How to use?
* Draw at least 3 marks on the pole at 50cm, 100cm, 150cm & 200cm;
* Run the App and press "New measurement" to take a shot of the object;
* While taking a shot hold the phone in a vertical position (when the position is vertical a green frame shall appear);
* When the green frame appears take a photo (of the whole object) ;
NB: for better quality focus (by tapping the screen) on the area where the marks are drawn.
* Match the virtual green vertical axis with object's vertical axis;
* Match the object's upper edge with the upper virtual green horizontal line and then press next;
* Match the upper virtual mark with the one at the object;
* Match other virtual marks with the real ones;
* Done, the height is calculated;
* Specify other info related to object's ID, status, location ect;
* Save photo;
* If needed take another shots of the object (with same ID) and save them;
* All photos along with other info (ID #, GPS etc) will be automatically download to your on-line database;
