This statistics calculator determines regression and correlation coefficients for several popular types of regression. In addition, with this calculator you can use your regression model to forecast Y with hypothetical values of X. Precalculus and statistics students will find this calculator especially useful for their unit on regression. This app is a perfect addition to the many scientific and graphing calculators in the app store that do not possess regression functionality.

Five of the most popular types of regression are included:

-Linear Regression (y = ax+b)
-Linear Regression (y = a + bx)
-Logarithmic Regression
-Exponential Regression
-Power Regression

To enter the data, simply type in the x-values and y-values of your dataset, separated by commas. For example:

x: 2.5,-5,20,13.67,4.5,8.6,-1.2
y: 3.5,-3.4,35,8.5,2,11.34,-4.5

Negative and decimal numbers are fully supported.

Use the picker wheel to choose the regression you want to run. If you want, include an x-value for which the app will forecast the y-value using your regression model. Tap "Done" when you are ready to view the results of your regression. If you want to edit your data, simply tap the "Edit" button from the results screen.
