Application Description
escuSignal is the best emergency communications app currently available for the iPhone 4.
It uses the flash on the iPhone 4 to do the following:
▫Variable Rate Strobe Light - This mode allows you to set a high speed pulse. Great for grabbing the attention of any rescuers. (Also cool at parties.)
▫Automated SOS - Flip a switch and the light will continuously pulse out SOS in Morse Code, allowing you to focus on other things.
▫Text to Morse Code - Type in a line of text, and the device will translate it to Morse Code, and transmit it via the light. It will also spell out the message on the screen simultaneously.
▫Instant on Flashlight - Leave it in flashlight mode, and the next time you start the app, the light will be on within two seconds (faster if it’s just backgrounded).
▫Screen Light - For devices that do not have an light, the intensity and color of the main screen can be changed to emit light.
