Application Description
Mobile étiquette; know just how and when to use your phone or tablet to show respect to the people around you. If you don't know about mobile etiquette, your ignorance may cost you that job you've always wanted, that girl (or boy) who smiles at you every day, not to mention the Respect of your friends and workmates.
Mobile phones used to be the exclusive status symbol of grandiloquent men in expensive suits and cheap aftershave, and sized to demonstrate the importance and power of these men. They would speak into their phones with inflated self-importance wherever and whenever they pleased. This “Mobile Phone Machismo” served to demonstrate to all and sundry the obvious size and power of their assets.
Today we are more aware of the impact that mobile devices make on our lives, but these self important men have irrevocably set the tone for our daily mobile device use. And so, even though we know better, people will still take phone calls during movies and even White House briefings.
The app assists the user in developing their mobile device etiquette. This covers more than the people they directly communicating with, it also covers all the people who surround them, and it covers vocal communication and textual. The objective of is to mitigate all the impact on the people around the user and the people they communicate with.
