Application Description
RPM_Strobo
This application is the program which measures the number of rotations of the motor and so on.
It is the one to have realized the feature of the number of rotations measuring machine "stroboscope" simply.
It controls the number of rotations button while having the turn body to want to measure mark and irradiating the flash light (LED) of iPhone and it takes synchronization and the display value when the mark is stationary becomes number of rotations.
Examine rough number of rotations before measuring.
It lowers gradually a set value while rather setting the number of rotations of the application to the improvement and seeing irradiation status.
When the synchronization comes off, the mark gets to change slowly.
Moreover, it commands to control a set value minutely and for the mark to get not to change.
The display value of the screen in that case becomes number of rotations (r.p.m = revolutions per minute).
The stroboscope of the marketing seems to have irradiated a blaze with very short period ( about 1 microsecond ) repeatedly using the discharge valve such as the xenon lamp and the turn body seems to have stopped fully.
Because it has the emitting light time of about 3 mS at this application, the mark doesn't seem to have stopped fully.
Also, it is limiting the maximum number of rotations which can be measured to less than 5000 turns.
( In case of 5000 r.p.m, because the emitting light period becomes 12 mS, the mark overlaps by about 90 degrees and can be seen ).
Because it makes LED blink at high speed at this application, it makes abeyance return when considering the consumption of the battery and the lifetime of LED and It stops when passing for 2 minutes after operation.
In Ver.1.10, it changed the following point.
1. With the continuously push at the "UP""DOWN" button, a value was able to be continuously changed.
2. It saved number of rotations when the app ends.
3. It corrected a bug about the "automatic lock" function.
This time, it cancels an "automatic lock" only in case of LED blink beginning.
[ The usage ]
1. It sets number of rotations with "Picker" and the "Up","Down" button.
1 changes when pushing the "Up","Down" button once.
With the continuously push at the "UP""DOWN" button, a value was able to be continuously changed.
Also, it changes big when dragging in the button.
2. When pushing the "Start" button, it begins measurement.
While measuring, too, the number of rotations can be changed.
3. It ends measurement when pushing the "Start" button ( the display is "Stop" ) again.
[ Requirement ]
1. This application is usable only in iPhone4 ( iOS lator 4.0 ).
2. Continued use of the flash may dramatically decrease battery life.
