Shake, Rattle and Roll allows you to have your Mac start playing the current song on your iPhone/iPod Touch , right where you left off! All this is done with a flick of your wrist.
The song is never actually transferred from your device to your Mac, so the song needs to be on both the iPhone/iPod and Mac for Shake Rattle and Roll to work. Also, Wifi needs to be turned on and the device needs to be connected to the same network as your Mac.
