So that’s the role of Share Your Design, the project collaboration tool. SyD helps you to follow all ongoing discussions about all your projects, to simply start new conversations or to close down ones that are clearly clarified. And all this is available from a simple web browser or by using this iPad app from your iPad device directly on the site. Use the Share Your Design web services using your iPad now.
How is it working?
To start using Share Your Design first register and create your web account in your browser, and then you can use it on your iPad too.
The Share Your Design web service manages all conversations broken down into projects which means you can manage multiple independent projects at a time like more constructions, architectural plans or simply any kind of graphical projects. To create a new account, or to create a project and the administer it you should use the web browser version of the SyD software. To post comments, create photos, start new conversations simply use your iPad directly on the spot. It's simple, fast and convenient.
Every discussion starts its life as a new Message Board that contains one main image and a description. You can draw redlining, place graphical texts on the image to make it clear what the exact subject of the conversation is. The description can be a formatted text – even including images, additional drawings and web links – that should clearly describe the question or issue to be clarified. The image and topic of the Message Board can be modified until it is synchronized to the SyD server. Afterwards only the project owner can modify it using the web browser version.
All project participants can add comments to all Message Boards anytime, which will be listed in a historical order backwards in time for everybody. The Message Board and its content, all comments will remain in this form forever, this way it can easily followed up what the result of the discussion was and how the participants came to the agreement.
