Its the simple app for sleepy people. Everything we've designed has been to put as few barriers as possible between you and a restful sleep.

You want to have to make as few decisions as necessary as you prepare for slumber so our user interface is kept as simple as we can make it. We've chosen to use Apple's interface where it's function is familiar and requires little thought in order to interact with it. Where we could make some changes to simplify the interface but still give you a familiar look and feel we've done that. And, by the way, no ads on Snoozie Q now or ever.

Snoozie Q - the simple app for sleepy people.

Features:

Use Your Favorite Podcasts, iTunes Library, and Playlists
You can fall asleep to and wake up to your favorite songs, iTunes playlist or podcast; you don’t need to rely on just the library of sounds and soundscapes that we provide. You can simply set those choices as you set your alarm.

Manage External Audio Streams
Snoozie Q allows you to fall asleep to the sound of your favorite streaming broadcast. Set your broadcast and the come Back to Snoozie Q and set your nap or sleep timer and the app will turn off the stream when you designate.

Fade-in Sound
You’ll notice that our soundscapes gently fade in from silence. We’ve designed it this way in order to keep from surprising you with a loud noise in case the volume on your device is up higher than you might be expecting. We want you to be relaxed so that sleep comes easily.

White Noise Looping
The human brain is designed to seek out patterns. So our soundscapes and alarms have been sampled from our own nature sound recordings that were well over an hour in length. We’ve scoured these recordings to find the best 20 to 30 seconds to use in an audio loop. Our goal was to make the loop as innocuous as possible, so that your ear will be unable to easily identify where the loop begins. We assume you’d rather be counting sheep than counting out 20-second loops.

Choice of Orange and Grays over Blue
We’ve chosen to use colors in our app that specifically avoid the color Blue. Numerous sleep and psychological studies over the last decade indicate that blue light acts as a visual stimulus, signaling to our brains that it’s time to wake up. As this is exactly the opposite of what we assume you would like to do, we’ve kept the entire application as blue-free as possible.

Gesture-Controlled Brightness
You may adjust the brightness of Snoozie Q by using a two-finger swipe up the screen to brighten or down the screen to dim.

Snooze Button
When it’s time to wake up you’re going to have be sure to press the “stop” button. We designed it this way so that you’ll have to be awake enough to focus on that task- otherwise, by tapping anywhere else on the screen, you’ll just engage the nine-minute snooze!
