The Speech Executive Pro app is designed for authors who have the need to complete professional digital dictations when not in front of a computer without the need for any additional hardware - just the Iphone or IPod Touch.

There is no need to spend hundreds of dollars on portable recorders or pocket memos anymore - this app does it all.

The files can be saved to the iphone or emailed in real time to the secretary, typing pool, transcriptionist or other typing service.

The app uses wav files so that the file type is compatible with most if not all current transcription software and services.

With the additional purchase of Philips SpeechExec Transcribe (per site) the audio files can be automatically received by email and added to the typing queue. There are other software packages you could also consider that complete this function.

If you are currently using Dragon Dictate or SpeechMagic (speech recognition engines) you can submit files through Philips SpeechExec Transcribe for speech recognition. If you are not using these voice recognition engines they are available for purchase separately.

To use this app on IPod touch you will need to purchase a compatible microphone.
