SpindleScope brings machine vibration monitoring to the iPad. If you need to keep track of acceleration or velocity signatures for your spindles, to monitor the health of your machinery and to discover potential problems before they become critical, SpindleScope is the app you’re looking for.

NOTE: SpindleScope requires external hardware for proper operation. At this time, the only option for accelerometer input (besides the built-in accelerometer), is to use the iPad Camera Connection Kit with a compatible USB audio interface. A powered USB hub and supporting power supply for your accelerometer may also be required. SpindleScope does not support input via the iPad’s headset jack. The available bandwidth when using the built-in accelerometer is limited to 40 Hz or 2400 cpm.
