Spredrはインターネットを介さずに複数のiPhoneを経由して遠くにいる人にメッセージや写真を自動転送することができるアドホックSNSです。インターネットのアクセス環境が失われてしまった地域でもコミュニティを形成することができます。

あなたが書き込んだメッセージや写真はBluetoothを介してすぐ近くのSpredrを立ち上げているiPhoneに転送され、それを繰り返すことで時間をかけて遠くの人に情報を届けることができます。

また、知らない人同士で写真を共有するといった使い方もできます。

Spredrは利用者登録などをする必要がなく、アプリをダウンロードして立ち上げBluetoothをオンにするだけで使うことができます。

Spredrのほとんどの機能はインターネットへ接続することなく利用することが出来ます。

You can spread your messages, photos and twitter ID etc to the people around you at the places with a lot of people such as parties, classrooms, offices, stadiums, commuter trains, terminal stations, and markets.
Your messages and photos will be sent to lots of Spredr launched on iPod touch/iPhone within about 30m around you over the Bluetooth connections, and then forwarded to other Spredr automatically over the Bluetooth connections, and then!
